This Restricted & Prohibited Items Policy explains which products Alicarrier cannot accept and which products require prior review, special documentation, packaging, or shipping arrangements.

Alicarrier provides product sourcing, purchasing assistance, China warehouse receiving, basic inspection, parcel consolidation, repacking, and international shipping services.

Product acceptance depends on several factors, including:

A product being available for sale on Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Alibaba.com, or another Chinese marketplace does not automatically mean that it can be legally exported, transported, imported, or delivered internationally.

Customers must obtain written confirmation from Alicarrier before purchasing or sending any potentially restricted product to our warehouse.

1. Important Notice

The lists on this page are not exhaustive.

Carrier rules, dangerous-goods regulations, customs requirements, sanctions, and destination-country laws may change. A product accepted for one country or shipping route may be prohibited for another.

Alicarrier may refuse any product that presents legal, safety, customs, intellectual-property, financial, or operational risk, even if the product is not specifically listed in this Policy.

Acceptance by an Alicarrier warehouse does not guarantee that the product will be accepted by an airline, shipping line, courier, customs authority, or destination-country delivery provider.

2. Three Product Categories

Alicarrier classifies products into three general categories.

Prohibited Items

These goods cannot be purchased, received, stored, consolidated, or shipped through Alicarrier.

Restricted Items

These goods require advance review and written approval. They may require special transportation, documents, packaging, declarations, quantity limits, or additional fees.

Special-Handling Items

These goods may be legal and transportable but require additional packaging, insurance, inspection, storage, or carrier arrangements.

Customers must not assume that a product is accepted until Alicarrier confirms the applicable category and shipping route.

Prohibited Items

3. Illegal Drugs and Controlled Substances

Alicarrier does not accept:

Products represented as herbal, natural, research, or traditional products may still be prohibited if they contain controlled ingredients.

4. Firearms, Weapons and Ammunition

Alicarrier does not accept:

Replica weapons, imitation guns, airsoft guns, BB guns, crossbows, high-powered slingshots, tasers, stun devices, pepper sprays, and certain knives may also be refused or treated as restricted goods depending on the route and destination.

5. Explosives and Fireworks

Alicarrier does not accept:

International transport rules classify explosives and many related products as dangerous goods requiring strict controls, and many standard parcel channels do not accept them.

6. Highly Dangerous or Hazardous Materials

Alicarrier does not accept hazardous materials that cannot be lawfully and safely transported through an approved channel, including:

Dangerous goods are divided into regulated hazard classes, including explosives, gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizing substances, toxic or infectious substances, radioactive materials, corrosives, and miscellaneous dangerous goods.

7. Counterfeit and Pirated Goods

Alicarrier does not accept goods that are counterfeit, pirated, unauthorized, or unlawfully use another party’s intellectual property.

The customer is responsible for verifying authenticity and authorization before purchase.

Marketplace availability does not prove that a product is genuine or legally exportable.

International postal and commercial carriers may prohibit counterfeit and pirated goods.

8. Stolen Goods and Illegal Property

Alicarrier does not accept:

Alicarrier may suspend an order and request proof of purchase, ownership, or authorization where necessary.

9. Human Remains and Biological Materials

Alicarrier does not accept:

Approved medical or research samples require specialized licensed logistics providers and are not accepted through standard Alicarrier services.

10. Live Animals and Protected Wildlife

Alicarrier does not accept:

Certain legally sourced animal products may still require wildlife permits, veterinary certificates, quarantine documents, or destination-country approval.

11. Currency and Certain Financial Instruments

Alicarrier does not accept standard shipment of:

Bullion, precious metals, high-value coins, and similar products require advance review and may not be accepted by the selected carrier.

Postal and courier networks commonly impose restrictions on currency, bullion, negotiable instruments, and other high-value commodities.

Alicarrier does not accept content or products that are illegal under the laws of China, a transit country, or the destination country.

Customer Responsibilities
